Lucy is currently in her third seat within the Company & Commercial team at Tozers. She assists her colleagues in advising businesses and charities through all stages of their lifecycles, including reorganisations, shareholders' agreements, and commercial agreements.
As a trainee solicitor, Lucy rotates through various departments to gain a broad range of legal experience. Upon qualifying as a solicitor in March 2026, she plans to specialise in a specific practice area. To date, she has gained valuable experience in the Wealth Management, Residential Property, and Company & Commercial teams.
Lucy enjoys the variety of legal matters she encounters daily and values the opportunity to work with esteemed colleagues across departments. Above all, she appreciates building lasting relationships with clients and working closely with them to understand and address their legal concerns.
Clients can expect a down-to-earth and highly personable approach from Lucy. She aims to put clients at ease by providing useful and consistent advice, coupled with the empathy to understand their legal concerns and offer the right solutions.
Lucy began her training with Tozers in March 2024. During her first seat in the Wealth Management team, she assisted with succession planning, trust and probate matters, and drafting Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney. Her second seat was with the Residential Property team, where she focused on buying and selling property, assents, and transfers of ownership.
Lucy graduated from the University of Exeter and the Université de Rennes 1 in 2022 with degrees in English Law (LLB) and French Law (Maîtrise en Droit). She then completed the LLM Legal Practice Course at BBP in Birmingham, graduating in 2023.
In her spare time, Lucy is a keen equestrian, baker, and camper. She enjoys exploring the British countryside with her family, friends, and partner, and loves surfing on the Cornish coast during the summer.
