“I often need to advise people who are going through challenging times in their lives, whether this relates to their own affairs of those of their loved ones. My aim is to make the process as smooth and efficient as possible, while understanding how personal and sensitive my approach needs to be.”

Emma specialises in several key areas of law, providing valuable guidance to her clients.

Emma advises clients on creating legally sound wills. She helps plan for the orderly transfer of assets to their chosen beneficiaries. Whether it’s drafting a new will or updating an existing one, Emma ensures that her clients’ wishes are accurately reflected.

When a loved one passes away, the probate process can be complex and emotionally challenging. Emma assists clients during this difficult time. She ensures that the administration of estates—such as distributing assets, paying debts, and handling legal formalities—is carried out smoothly and efficiently.

Emma’s compassion extends to vulnerable clients who have lost mental capacity. She helps protect their assets and overall wellbeing. Whether it’s due to age-related decline or other circumstances, Emma ensures that their interests are safeguarded.

Emma works closely with individuals who fall under the Court of Protection’s jurisdiction. This involves making applications to the court and managing day-to-day affairs for those who lack capacity. Her expertise ensures that clients receive the necessary support and advocacy.

Emma advises attorneys acting under Powers of Attorney. These legal documents grant someone the authority to make decisions on behalf of another person. Emma ensures that attorneys understand their responsibilities and act in the best interests of the individual they represent.

As clients age, concerns about care fees and asset protection become crucial. Emma provides expert advice on funding long-term care and strategies to safeguard assets. Her goal is to help clients maintain financial security while navigating the complexities of later life.

Emma recognises that clients facing these legal situations often grapple with difficult decisions. To support them, she builds relationships based on trust and empathy. Her service is professional, efficient, and approachable. Emma’s knowledge spans various related areas, including deputyship, attorneyship, wills, probate, and later life planning.

Emma’s educational journey began with studies in English & History. Later, she completed the Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) to transition into the legal field.
