We are very proud of four individuals from Tozers who have been shortlisted in the 2020 Devon and Somerset Law Society Legal Awards. With just over 2 months to go until the awards evening, we thought it would be good to find out a bit more about each person.

We are pleased to announce that our Charity of the Year for 2020 is the Hospiscare and Rowcroft Hospice alliance. After the applications were shortlisted, staff at all three of Tozers’ offices voted for the cause they wanted to be the focus of our fundraising efforts.

The parents of a teenage girl who suffered brain damage as a result of the negligent management of her birth at North Devon District Hospital, yesterday attended the Royal Courts of Justice in London to conclude the legal claim for compensation against the NHS.

The parents of a 9 year old girl left with cerebral palsy and catastrophic brain damage during her birth at North Devon District hospital have attended court in the final stage of their fight for compensation.

For the past year, Tozers have been fundraising for Age UK Exeter by various means – including a sponsored walk in the Lake District, a Family Fun Day, baking competitions, a very popular office tuck shop and Christmas hampers.
