Tozers’ Partner and Solicitor Amanda Bonnick, from the Affordable Housing team, is undertaking a trek in the Himalayas and volunteering at the Kathmandu Hospice, in aid of Hospiscare.
Hospiscare provides ‘outstanding’ free care and support to people who have a terminal illness, such as cancer, heart failure, or other life-limiting conditions, so that patients can focus on being as comfortable as possible.
Amanda is departing from London for Kathmandu on the 12th November, where she will be helping with the community project at the Hospice or the Cancer Centre.
On the 17th November she will then travel to Naya Pul and commence the 5 day trek towards Ghandruk. The trek team is a group of volunteers from across Devon. Some are doing the trek in memory of loved ones who have been supported by Hospiscare, and others are supporting the charity for the work they do locally.
