What you’ll be doing

You will be supporting our busy Social Housing Property team. Your role will include a broad range of matters including individual acquisitions and sales, plot sales, shared ownership transactions, including staircasing’s, assignments and lease extensions, dealing with Land Registry applications and requisitions and general property transactions.

What we’re looking for

We are looking for someone with experience of sales, acquisitions, leases, and general property transactions to join our social housing property team.

Initially you will be office-based in Exeter to help you familiarise yourself with the team, our work, and the support available to you. Whilst we are happy to discuss hybrid working arrangements, this role will require the successful candidate to work a minimum of 2 days per week in the office alongside other commitments the role will require such as Court attendance.

What you’ll have

You will be an experienced Property Paralegal with general property experience and knowledge of the conveyancing process ideally running your own caseload.

You will need to be a team player, diligent and an effective communicator ensuring that all clients have the information they need.  As well as being comfortable working collaboratively, you will also be able to work independently at all times ensuring that the clients’ needs are paramount.  A positive attitude is essential.
